Great Gospel Festival Ciénaga, Colombia

What God did in our Great Gospel Festival in Cienaga Colombia is absolutely AMAZING!  It was the first night, after I preached my message called  “The Gospel is the power of God”.  Before praying for the sick like I normally do I always give an opportunity to receive the greatest miracle of all “Salvation”.  The response was overwhelming as I could see hundreds of hands raised.  On the way to my hotel my father-in-law said to me he was so moved by the message that he prayed the salvation prayer again.  This is the work of the Holy Spirit.  However, the miracles were just beginning.  Right after I began to pray for the sick, I looked over to the left side of the crowd and saw a man pushing an empty wheel chair!  The place went crazy as the people could see that this lame man was healed by Jesus and God’s love for every person.  What an awesome Jesus!  At least 2 completely deaf men were totally healed by Jesus.  Overwhelming!  The second night there were so many blind or partially blind people healed I lost count.  Countless testimonies of lame people who could not walk stood on the platform in front of thousands of people demonstrating the love and grace of our wonderful Jesus by walking and LEAPING and PRAISING GOD.  It was GLORIOUS!  Shouts of JOY filled the stadium!  I’m reminded of when Philip preached the gospel in Samaria in Acts chapter 8.  It says, “There was GREAT JOY in that city.”  However, the greatest moment for me was when hundreds if not thousands of people bowed their knee and surrendered their hearts to the Lord Jesus Christ.  Many of the pastors that worked with us said, “We have never seen anything like this in the history of our city.”  Even the man who rented us the sound equipment, who was not a believer in Jesus at that time, said to us, “I could not believe my eyes!  We have never seen so many people in this stadium!  I’m not a person who cries easily, but when I saw all the miracles and what was going on here my eyes were filled with tears.”  Later he invited me to his office and he received Christ.  Praise God!  All glory and honor belongs to Jesus because we know that countless lives have been transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit and the history of Cienaga Colombia has been changed forever.  Thank-you for your partnership that makes this possible!
